This all levels class, places focus on Classical Pilates Mat Fundamentals including breathing, Pelvic Placement, ribcage placement, scapular movement and stability and head placement, while targeting specific areas of the body with uniquely designed exercises to create longer, leaner and stronger physical musculature.   

 

This 1 hour class targets core, upper and lower body and is executed primarily on the floor. With careful attention to anatomical detail, this class offers clients an opportunity to strengthen areas of physical weakness, mobilize areas previously locked and bring back the natural curvature of the spine. A mindful approach to the breathe/body connection, will make it possible for clients to benefit fully from the benefits this specialized class can provide.

This full body conditioning class focuses on standing exercises primarily executed at the barre. No prior ballet or dance experience is necessary to execute this physically challenging but satisfying curriculum. Upper body, lower body and core strength take centre stage in this class, often assisted my additional props and accessories to heighten the intensity of this class.

Ideal for anyone interested in a personalized approach to re-aligning the spine, addressing individual anatomical challenges, or a simple desire to condition the body in a more personalized environment. Additional props and movement modalities are used to explore greater physical possibilities in this individualized setting.

In this uniquely designed workshop, core Pilates mat work principles are partnered with a series of fluid standing exercises to offer the ultimate challenge to your core stability, lower and upper body strength, flexibility and levels of physical dynamics. All executed to a percussive musical soundscape of contemporary music pulsating with rhythms and sounds that underscore each exercise.


This 4 session workshop, takes your fundamental knowledge of Joseph Pilates classical mat work and brings you to your feet to challenge balance, co-ordination and overall strength. With an emphasis on breathe, pelvic placement, scapular movement and stability and head placement, this workshop offers an opportunity to further develop your overall movement abilities as you move through this series of standing postures designed to build a new awareness of postural alignment, physical fluidity and freedom of movement.
